Sr. Zohra

Principal and Educator

Sister Zohra has a Bachelor of Islamic Studies and over 25 years of dedicated teaching experience in Canada. She got her training from University of British Columbia (UBC) which helped develop her expertise in meeting the diverse needs of students. Currently, she teaches intermediate students at a private Muslim school, blending academic excellence with values-based education. Sister Zohra has taught children of all ages and abilities, specializing in special education. Her teaching approach emphasizes empathy, adaptability, and lifelong learning.

Sheikh Ihsaan Newman has studied the Arabic language and Qur'an in Egypt at Al Madinah International Islamic University in Malaysia. He also studied at The Islamic University of Madinah in Saudi Arabia in the faculty of Shariah.He has taught at various Islamic institutions in GVRD. He is passionate and dedicated to making students love, appreciate and understand the Quran.

Sr. Omina

Grade 4 - 6

Sister Omnia has been a Quran and Islamic studies teacher with the renowned Egyptian Academy for past five years and is well versed in Quranic Arabic, the Quran, and Tafsir.

Sister Naveen is an experienced instructor who has taught at Tri-Cities Academy for over two years and has a very solid background in Islamic Studies and History.
