Our in-person Islamic classes are designed for students ages 5–15 and are held at Douglas College. Each class is divided into two parts: students spend the first half learning Islamic Studies, and the second half developing their Qur'an recitation through Tajweed. They also work on Qur'an memorization in a structured and supportive learning environment.

Online Classes 2026/27

Our weekly online class is taught by Br. Omar Abdul Fatah—a local Khateeb, student of knowledge, TEDx speaker, BC-certified teacher, and school counsellor.
Held every Tuesday on Zoom from 6:30–7:30 PM, this one-hour interactive class is designed for youth and young adults who want to build a deeper connection with the Qur'an.
Qur'an 101 is a unique program that goes beyond recitation by helping students understand the meanings and messages of the Holy Qur'an and apply its teachings to their everyday lives. The course explores selected Surahs and Ayahs from Juz 'Amma and other parts of the Qur'an, incorporating Tafsir, Hadith, and practical discussions that make the lessons relevant to today's challenges.
